Steve Bobick - President

Background

Steve Bobick founded UtiliTech Inc. in 1991 after 23 years of other successful business ventures. Before beginning his business career, Steve graduated from Lycoming College and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.

Steve continues to take an active role in guiding UtiliTech’s steady, managed growth and anchors the company's corporate culture with his personal integrity and commitment - to customers, the community and all the members of the UtiliTech team.

It is a little known fact that Steve has personally reviewed nearly all of the more than 1000 successful utility and telecommunications audits completed by UtiliTech.

David Johnston - Executive Vice President

Background

Mr. Johnston brings with him 26 years of supervision in the construction industries with ten of those years at the Limerick Nuclear Generating Station, Pottstown, PA. At UtiliTech, Mr. Johnston is in charge of Operations and supervises all client support activities. He also oversees all client accounts to ensure that vendor changes have been properly implemented. Mr. Johnston is also responsible for maintaining and upgrading UtiliTech’s in-house telecommunications and data network services.

Education

Mr. Johnston has an expanded technical knowledge that includes certification from the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic on C-130E aircraft with a three-year tour of duty in Vietnam. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has certified him to work in all types of nuclear environments. He has also completed various seminars in the telecommunications and data industries. Mr. Johnston has also completed courses with Springhouse Computer Schools for Microsoft Small Business Server applications.

Charity Quinn - Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Background

Ms. Quinn’s work experience includes twelve years of account marketing and management. Eight of these years have been dedicated to servicing various size governmental agencies and Fortune 500 companies. As Vice President of Marketing for UtiliTech Inc., Ms. Quinn has gained a great deal of telecommunications and utility analysis expertise during her hands on management of projects which leads to client retention and satisfaction. Ms. Quinn is responsible for on-going sales, marketing and client relations.

Education

Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Almeda College and University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Professional and Civic Affiliations

Ms. Quinn is a member of Leadership Berks and the National Federation of Women’s Clubs. She has also been recognized for her Excellence in Performance with the Pennsylvania Utility Commission (PUC).

Jonathan H. Black - Director of Electric Services

Background

Mr. Black began his career in the electric service industry with GPU Energy Corporation, and held various positions with GPU for 15 years. During that time, he managed a wide range of responsibilities, including; Customer Relations Manager, Industrial Segment Supervisor, Sr. Consultant Major Accounts, Market Support Engineer, Industrial/Commercial Technology Applications Engineer Sales, Engineer III Major Accounts/Technical Support, District Engineer Operations, Account Executive and Design Engineer.

He is responsible for managing electric service auditing and procurement for our clients. His responsibilities focus on helping our customers better understand electric utility rate options, facilitating refunds for billing errors, new energy savings through electric technologies and the procurement of the lowest cost energy supply from alternate generation suppliers. Mr. Black understands the best-cost theories in the electric service industry and works diligently to bring those choices to our clients.

Education

Mr. Black received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Penn State University in Energy Engineering Technology. He has also received credits for continued studies in Electric Utility System Operations, Utility Finances & Accounting, Industrial & Commercial Power Distribution, Lighting Design, HVAC Systems, Geothermal Certification, Demand Side Management, Plastics Industry, Healthcare Technologies, Energy Management, Thermal Electric Storage Heating, Ice Storage Cooling Systems, Induction Heating; Infrared, Microwave, Radiofrequency & Resistance Technologies.

Curtis D. Clifford - Vice President of Natural Gas Services

Background

Mr. Clifford has 39 years of experience in the natural gas industry, including exploration, production and gathering, as well as procurement, marketing and consulting. He served as Vice President of GASMARK a deregulated energy subsidiary, with operating responsibility for eight years. He has held a number of other senior positions in 28 years with UGI and in subsequent years working with Consolidated Edison, Elizabethtown Gas, Skipping Stone Consultants.

Mr. Clifford has served in his current position for the past four years, directing UtiliTech’s efforts in all areas associated with the gas industry. He offers critical client consulting advice to all commercial and industrial gas consumers served by our company. His primary focus is on deregulated gas procurement, utility rate analysis and invoice audits, all designed to support optimum solutions for our clients.

Education

Mr. Clifford holds two degrees from Union College, Schenectady, NY, Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts, Social Sciences.

He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, member American Society of Civil Engineers, Director, Atlas Pipe Line Partners, Past President, and active member of the Daniel Boone Optimist Club, Douglassville, and Founder and President of Amity Manor, Inc., Douglassville, PA.
